Remaining stuff to do:
(Hit list for red cougar.)

Prime hood after sanding.
Cut new wires for relocation
Run new power wires pass side Run to starter location.
Run new rca cables drivers side
Reinstall amp finish amp rewire
Bolt down capacitor
Get caliper paint Paint pbr's
Put on pbr's and new disks.
Get battery for red cougar
Install radiator
Install trans cooler lines

Finish fuel tank draining
Get 5 gallons of premium

I've started the amp rewire; the interconnects on the amp board were 10awg. :) Now it's all 2 awg or 4awg. Added the capacitor I bought a few years back, 5F @20V. :) If a transistor in the amp fails, it will never be found, except as a vapor layer on the inside of the amp, lol.
when you connect it to the battery, you hook a lamp in place of the fuse. When it goes out, you can put the fuse in. Otherwise, the fuse elements disapear.

I found a copy of my tune files; I don't seem to have the tune I wrote for the red cougar, pi, and all. :( I lost a drive a few years ago, and it was that drive. I'm hoping they're on one of the others or the server.

Damn! Nice engine! That's the engine that is my Town Car. Best engine ever.

I'm paranoid over data loss, and I haven't deleted anything personal in 20 years. I keep a minimum of two copies of all my files - one on a RAID5 array, and another on either another PC/drive or my 2nd RAID5 array.

I keep a local copy and another copy on my Google Drive (cloud).

One copy failing is my fault, another one isn't my fault.

Cloud storage is convenient - I save something on one PC and it's easily accessible on all the others, regardless of where they happen to be.

My problem is how much crap I have... about 15TB worth over the years. :)

Yeah I use drive(two actually, my main google account one is full). Some stuff I have on usb sticks too so there’s quite a bit of redundancy.

Believe it or not, none, actually. :) I've never really thought to try and categorize it all, come to think of it.

1-1/2 TB of DVD/Blu-ray disc rips (mostly redundant).
1/2 TB is recovery disk sets for ThinkPads 1992-present.
1/2 TB of raw and processed audio and video for my production side business.
5 TB is a mirrored set (about 2 TB duplicated on two RAID5 disk arrays) with the stuff in my desktop, documents, photos, music etc.
1 TB of downloaded files.
2-1/2 TB of encoded movies and TV for my home media server.
4 TB or so of system image backup files for other computers in the household.

I need to clone my D drive to a newer disk; that 500GB HDD I bought back in 2006 and it's been on almost constantly ever since.

A 12 TB drive was less than $200 last year. I found an old array I built out of 233 GB drives; that I think will be repurposed to be the boot drives for the DOS / Win 95 machines I'm going to set up for Duke 3d. :) I have 4 IBM server 330 2x133 MHz Pentium Pro machines. EISA bus goodness, built in SCSI raid. With hot swap cages for full height SCSI drives. I have 16 $4000, A-20000 data aquisition cards for them, that I'm currently learning to code for in IDL. I'm curious to see what the contents are before /i repurpose them. Been at least 20 years. Probably porn, lol.

With all the red states making porn illegal, those drives may be worth their weight in gold, lol. I can start selling DVDs at yard sales again, lol.

They outlawed protestors awhile back; hell, they threw 3 people out of the legislature here for being Democrats, of course two of them were Black. This is the most Racist and backwards state in the union, but I haven't been to Alabama or Lousiana recently, lol. The People of TN being who they are, they voted to send the same guys right back, lol. The graft system is way worse than it was in the 70's when te non-trumpians were in power, and we had nice roads. Now, pretty much everything goes into someones pockets. They're currently pissed at us because we voted down their project to give $7000 to rich families to helppsy for private school, taking the money from the federal money for public school, which have been underfunded since Reagan.
The word ethical hasn't been connected to Tennessee politics since I was in grade school, in the 70's.

I'm outside today, pumping gas. I need two an10 lines and fittings to finish the oil filter relocation. And I bough a forged lifting loop. That mounts on the k-member, beside the motor mount. I run a chain from a bolt oon the head, for the lifting plate to pull the engine. "there are two factory plates, that bolt onto the heads with 12mm bolts, 2 on each head." None of the ones on ebay currently are for us, if you lift from our manifold, it would rip in half before it would come out. :)

Man, the 10 buck plate I bought for the oil filter relocation is getting expensive. AN 10 lines for the oil are $100, lol. I can build them for half that, but oil is too critical for me to make the lines. What do Y'all think?

jeezus!! that's exactly the perfect mod. much cheaper than my path. Does that mod require the front cover?

Yes, since the timing cover has two of the four bosses to mount the power steering pump to the head instead of the stock block location Plus the extra pulleys are necessary.

Hey you get that Volvo EPS pump working you won’t need to change timing covers or move the PS pump at all

I'm still working on it. I bought a programming package for the PIC setup I have, and I bought some canbus stuff to work with, that came with a manual, so I know how to talk to it. The fact I don't have that working yet is actually encouragig. There's obviously something I'm missing. Any experts in pic coding, I'm happy to post code to be laughed at, lol.

I found the tuner for the red cougar. It still has the tune that I broke the red cars npi with. :) It's still mated to the red cougar, so I need to tune it, to cause less hassle. I still haven't gotten to a message or a person. I think I pissed in their cookies, after my software showed up as a virus. Right after that, the dongle quit talking. :(

Should be when you’re on hold where they’re playing that tropical tiki bar music there’s a prompt where they ask you to press 1 or something where you leave the message. IME the earlier you call (eg 9 am eastern) the best chance you have at actually getting a person to pick up.

They walked me through the virus/firewall problem when I was on support without that actually being the reason I contacted them, it’s a really common issue they’d been inundated with in support calls and just preemptively set me up while I was there. Hopefully the guy I dealt with is still there, very helpful and friendly.

Cool. I checked the red car tuner; it's still mated, and still loaded with the npi tune that wasted te og motor, lol. and lonnie's adline, lol.
