What's the story behind the bumper cover on the 91? I am dusting off old memory cells now but I seem to recall a thread many years ago with photos of the build of it - or something a lot like it.

You mean these ?? I did that writeup back in 2009 or so. Most of my pictures from 2008-2012 are still on photo bucket, so its taking time to gather them without the watermark. 🤪

That reminds me, what happened to the guy who was trying to made a SVE clone most recently? That bumper was sorely missing!

That's probably it! At the very least the timeframe sounds right. That was back when your username was SCTBird1994 or something like that?

Muscle & Thunder .. last I remember he spent all of his Stimulus relief check on more car parts and then decided not to go through with the 96-98 Cobra intake manifold he had already purchased in favor of a supercharger .. 🤔

That was when dDUBb was Banned from the site. Rodeo Joe took care of that problem for me .. 😁

Not sure what year this is, but my 94 Thunderbird was painted Red, before the Red and White two tone, so by my estimate it may be 2003.

We used to build Minitrucks - the S10 on the left is dropped 4 inches .. Purple one on the right was getting a stock floor body drop, because laying frame wasnt low enough.

Saw him on FB more recent that TCCoA, but it's been a half year or more...

Some day I will get a SC 5 Speed, but for now I keep tinkering on this one:

Let’s see. Currently there is the daily driver 97 sport 5-speed

The 01 F150 with a 393W (taken after completing power tour with it with my son)

Then there is also an 07 Silverado 1500 work truck, but I don’t think I ever bothered to take a picture of it!

Current project is the 91 Cougar

I stand corrected, you can see the Chevy in the last pic of the 91 Cougar!

I dusted off some photos of my previous cars!

About a year after I started working on the T-bird (so I didn't have to drive it in the winter) I picked up this 94 Cougar with the V6.

I convinced my dad to buy a 93 Mark VIII about a year after I got the Cougar. I drove it as I worked on its various issues and developed an affinity for it, but he sold it because he was tired of the air suspension issues. No great pictures of that one, but this is the state it was in when we bought it home.

After I gave the Cougar to my mom, I replaced it with this 96 Mark VIII. My goal was to drive it past 300k, but it got pretty badly rear ended just north of 255k.

The 96's replacement is this 98 LSC that I still have and DD.

Current project - 2007 Trailblazer SS AWD .. making progress after the wreck in January and a lot of additional upgrades ( brakes / Suspension ).

Beautiful! Mines a bigger project than I thought, but those are the exact wheels I’d like to do.

I swoon every time I see a well cared for aero bird - or one being brought back from the brink of the crusher.
Saved from the crusher you say? 😜

This is my forest green 1994 4.6 LX. this one got me into the mn12 game. Unfortunately it is no longer with us. Still have some of the parts here and there. Did the alternator, the heater core twice. Even yelled "what the hell were they thinking" the first time I had to remove the oil filter. Sadly the Alpine green 97 to the left is also gone. That belonged to Chris_Murder. The black car on the right belonged to Tbird93 from "the old site". Haven't talked to her in 15 years since she sold the black car.
